Soon this page will show pictures of the "lighting of the Christams tree" that took place in the village in Dec 2007.

The Gala fund paid for and organised the tree whilst involving the local Primary School. The winner of a festive art competition was given the honour of switching on the tree lights!

The winner was 5 year old Ciarah McIntosh of William Street, Gourdon in Primary 1
