Aberdeen's Original Fair Traders
The Third World Centre traded in St Mary's Chapel, Kirk of St Nicholas since 1983 and during that time many people became much more aware of the sheer justice of giving a fair price to disadvantaged producers, who have no voice of their own.
In July 2009 the shop, now known as Fair Trade Aberdeen, moved to new premises at 101 George Street, where it is open from 10am till 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
Our motto is "Shop till no-one drops!"
If you would like to view a video that tells the story of fair trade in Aberdeen, do contact the Montgomery Centre. The video was specially made for us and is called "Fit aboot Fair Do's?"
